The Clyde Bergemann On-Load cleaning technology of Water Cannons and / or Shower Cleaning System has been accepted for cleaning empty passes and platen heating surfaces in refuse incineration plants and biomass boilers.

Especially in  view of the varying fuel quality in refuse incineration plants  these automatic cleaning systems react flexibly to the respective operating states. Through retrofitting of this process engineering the operating time is clearly extended and the maintenance costs are notably reduced.

Regarding the installation and operating mode of this cleaning technology ample experiences and measuring results are available from the installations in existing incineration plants.

These experiences of the plant owners/operators show that for the construction of new incineration plants the selective and automatic cleaning technology in the empty passes will in future be an important issue which should be clarified already at the planning stage.
