| Jetblower |
 |
Function:
- The Jetblower combines the advantages of a long retractable sootblower with those of a twin lance blower.
- When the sootblower is not in operation, the lance tube with nozzle head is withdrawn from the flue gas pass into a safe position.
- The blowing agents of air, steam or water are admitted to the lance tube with nozzle head through two separate valves via an inside tube and a flexible line.
- Inside the lance tube the two blowing agents are fed on separate routes to the nozzle stem assemblies.
- Because of this sophisticated design no rakes are necessary.
Special features:
- Three cleaning methods:
- High-pressure water cleaning with full jet nozzles
- Blowing with steam or air through venturi nozzles
- Low-pressure water cleaning
- Blowing mode and movement are controlled separately.
- At air heaters with rotating rotor the rotary speed control or Go-Stop-Go operating mode can be applied.
- Constant running speed for homogeneous cleaning is possible in other application areas.
- Limit switches control the travel between rest position and return position
