Pneumatic Rapping Device

Principle:

An electrically driven rapping carriage moves along the rams guided by two running rails. At each ram the pneumatic impact cylinder is activated and its impact causes cleaning of the heating surfaces.

In the case of the pneumatic facility, the impact energy can be adjusted to the fouling rate by the operating pressure admitted. Although the maximum pressure normally will not exceed 6 bar, an optimum cleaning efficiency is achieved.

Installation area Convection heating surface
Temperature in installation area <600°C
