With CLYDE BERGEMANN cleaning systems boiler and furnace plant owners have achieved considerable savings of operating costs by the reduction of fuel consumption, extension of the operating periods and avoidance of manual cleaning operations. But in many cases almost all heating surfaces, air heaters and DeNox systems are cleaned according to defined cycles in a defined sequence.
The fouling behavior of the heating surfaces, however, varies greatly. For economic and technical reasons it is therefore reasonable to clean just the necessary heating surfaces. As the advanced operating mode of a boiler plant is often subject to considerable variations caused, for example, by fuel changes, part load operation or availability requirements, it is almost impossible to control the use of sootblowers in an efficient manner because of the high demands placed on the operating personnel.
