Cleaning of industrial boilers
To ensure ongoing high efficiencies in line with planning specifications, it is necessary to utilise sootblower systems. Different blower types are selected depending on the area to be cleaned. In this way the flow rate of the respective blowing agents can be kept very low in order to enable unchanged high turbine outputs.

The following form of application has proved successful: Furnace walls are cleaned by Wall deslaggers while Long retractable sootblowers are used for the removal of slagging from superheaters and evaporators. Their arrangement depends on the selected nozzles which, in connection with the blowing pressure, determine the cleaning depth. In the downstream heating surfaces Helical sootblowers are used just as Rake sootblowers which preferably follow the flue gas direction. Alternately the less expensive Rotating element blowers can also be selected, but they show a less favourable cleaning performance. That is why the boiler dimensions and blowing steam parameters are to be checked in detail.
