The Water Cannon is the prime cleaning tool  for the furnace and combustion chamber. The Water Cannon is operated with water as cleaning medium.
 
The blowing lance high performance nozzle is located at an opening in the boiler wall. The back end of the lance is moved in X- and Y-direction with two separate linear drives. On the opposite furnace wall the water jet creates a cleaning pattern in a meander-shape.
