SMART LANCE™
AHR Twin Lance with HP water

AHR Twin Lance with HP Water Wash

Function:

  • The electric motor, through a reduction gearbox, induces lateral motion in the lance which is mounted in a chain driven travelling carriage assembly
  • When the sootblower is actuated the lance moves forward to its full extent and at the furthest extent a limit switch is tripped which reverses the mechanism.
  • Sootblowing is carried out on the reverse stroke in timed steps (the blower nozzle position is controlled using an encoder and PLC control panel).
  • When sootblowing is completed, a second limit switch signals the end of the cycle.
  • Alternatively, the blower can be designed to blow during the forward stroke with automatic reversal when the lance tubes are fully extended.
  • Optional fans can be fitted to the high pressure lance to supply air sealing to the HP nozzles when not in use.

Special features:

  • integrated stop valve with adjustable throttle disc for straightforward adjustment of the blowing pressure
  • temperature-resistant blowing lance material
  • high-performance nozzles
  • stainless feed tube material
  • travel distance controlled by limit switch
  • nozzle positioning controlled by encoder
  • reduction motor gearbox for advance movement

Options:

  • pressure transducer with adjustable set point
  • internal lance purge via scavenge valve
  • special wall box designs for negative pressure, positive pressure and sound protection
  • fully connected sealing and scavenging air
Lance Travel 908mm/min at 50Hz
Blowing medium Steam, air, water
Blowing element Lance tube with high performance nozzle
Typical steam consumption 9.7kg/min per nozzle
